HOSTING COST CALCULATOR

Look beyond the introductory price.

Compare the cash commitment using your own quotes. No provider prices are assumed, and no inputs are sent to a tracking service.

Your quoted costs

Enter full term prices, not monthly equivalents. Use one currency throughout.

The full hosting amount due for the first term, before tax.
Use the currently quoted full renewal-term amount.
Domain, email, backup or licence costs that recur annually.
Applied uniformly to all entered costs. Actual tax treatment may differ.

What this calculator counts

The initial hosting payment is counted at the start. If the comparison period extends beyond that term, the calculator includes each full renewal payment needed to cover the remaining period. Annual extras are charged at the start and at each subsequent yearly boundary. One-time extras are added once.

This is a cash-outlay model, not a prorated expense model. If the comparison ends partway through a prepaid term, the whole payment remains included. The monthly average divides that total by the comparison months and should not be mistaken for a monthly invoice.

For a clearly hypothetical example, an initial 12-month term of 120 units and a 12-month renewal of 240 units produce a 24-month hosting total of 360 units, or an average of 15 units per month, before extras and tax. These are not actual provider prices.

Use current written quotes and read the renewal-pricing guide for the services to include. No automatic currency conversion, refund calculation or regional tax determination is performed.
